MAC Makeup questions First Time?

Okay, I am 14. & I am finally moving' outta Middle School! So I think it is time for a new look. So I was going to try MAC makeup.. For one I am really getting tired of my other makeup... Rimmel London. So I had some questions about their makeup. & yes I understand that the price of this makeup is high. But trust me this won't just be used as an everyday makeup.. Well, okay in a way it will be. But I also do A LOT of pageants & my mom has been dying to find me some GOOD makeup & I told her about this so she is really willing to try it. So this weekend we were planning on going to MACY'S and trying it out before we buy.. (someone said that they won't do it unless you buy $50 worth of makeup & since I am a first time buyer I figure I will be spending OVER that much..) Anyways. I heard a lot of things about their makeup. So I had some questions..



Okay, I heard that their makeup really will make your skin break out?

I have acne free skin, plus on thop of that I use proactive when my face starts to get oily from never really taking my makeup off.



Does it work good on dry skin?

I usually have to put lotion on before my Rimmel London because my skin is dryer in some areas, but mostly because I forgot to buy my primer.



Does their makup give you a flawless look?

I love the natural flawless look! But I am not sure what foundation to use on that & powder.. I heard the meneralized is good and is light coverage? Then the studio is medium to full coverage? I don't want a heavy coverage. Oh! If it helps I am mixed. But darker than some mixed people that look almost white.. Here is a picture of about how dark I am! Click Here Yes it is Rihanna. I am about as dark as her. & actually,for the truth I look about like her also. Anyways.



Is the concealer needed?

Okay, so I partly lied about my acne. I mean I am like pimple free. But I do have SOME white heads arond my eyes at the bottom outter corner. Nothing horrible like maybe one or two. Is the concealer really neeeded?



Would you recommend eyeshadow?

I am NOT a big user of it..



Eyeliners?

I have used the twist, hated it. Stick.. Hated it. & liquid. Hated it.. So I was thinking the fluid line?



Brushes?

What should I get for the powder, foundation, blush (if i even get any, which I recommend not for my skin color.), & eyeliner. I don't want something TOO big or TOO small. But easy to work with. & I kinda think that the "Angle Free" will work good for the eyeliner.

Mascara?
& do ya recommend the primer? So they say yor lashes kinda fall out if you don't wipe your mascara off.. & I use to do pagents when I was younder & NEVER wiped it off.. Soo.. Mine are kinda thin.

Blush?

I mean seriously should I use any for MY skin color?



Lipgloss?

Super Glass or Dare to Wear?

NO lipstick. Not on me!



Primer?

Which one..?



Um,I know this is like kinda outta order. Like it goes to like how good it works to eyeliner then lipgloss then blush.. etc. ;p But if you have anything els to say, advice or anything please let me know!! It will be apprciated, or any kinda tips or anything you use that you would recommend!

& what's the deal with the, "Do they test MAC on animals?.."

how can i get prettier before school starts?

ok so im going to be a freshman this year. i have dirty blond hair with side bangs and blue eyes i have really long and dark nateral eye lashes and i have sum freckles. im a average size girl im 5ft 3 in and im about 110 lbs most of my friends are guys they all call me a cutie but im not sure if thats a good thing tho. i rly want to look wiked pretty this year so any hair tips makup anything will help thanks a ton

I have naturally really blonde hair so i tryed to dye it dark blonde somhow it turned out red. I can redye it in atleast a week it actually looks good cuz i have fair skin and blue eyes but i have no clue what makup because the look i wore with blonde does'nt lo ok good anymore? i'm new to wearing make-up, please help.?

okay will im 17 and my mom finally let me wear foundation. i don't have bad skin at all. of course an ocasional zit here and there but that's it. i have tan skin (hispanic). okay so i just got cover girl classic tan set ( liquid foundation & the compact) and it mathces my skin perfectly except the compact. but i made sure that it was the same color and it was. well anyways on the directions it says to put on liquid foundation to and then put on the compact for a clear finish. well that's what i did. at first the liquid looked great but then wen i put on the compact it made my face look darker. i was wondering if you girls have tips on how to put on face makup and avoid a line around your face and which foundation do you prefer? and should i not even put on the compact?

Hey guys! So i have been feeling sad lately because my guys friends have gotten into this new thing where they make jokes about me that involve calling me "fat" or "ugly." I know they are joking and they are like my brothers but Im not sure why its bothering me. Ive tried subtly mentioning that it hurts my feelings but they ignore it and keep doing it anyways. Makeover like a popular girl?

Before you say ANYTHING, I can't be myself because i don't know who i am, I'm trying to find that person by exploring all different styles and interests, I've been everything from a nerd to a total goth.
I'm JUST trying to find who i am so don't get pissy or tell me i'm trying to hard,just give me tips or don't answer.
I was thinking of either all blonde hair, or blonde streaks on brown hair?
Foundation,Pink blush,Liguid eyeliner,fakeeyelashes(NOT OTT ones)
Anyway the "popular" girls i know, arent posh,They're more on the chavy side>but aren't chavs (if that makes sense?)
They usually have side fringe and layers, wear tracsuits,but like nice ones not cheap tacky ones.
And they were neon underwear and socks for some reason and argue over who has the nicest socks lol
Most of them drink and smoke and stuff but i'm NOT going to do that because it's stupid and i mean i know you die anyway but still while i'm alive i'd like to remain healthy haha..
They aren't actually Orange and have too much makeup on,they usually just wear eyeliner foundation and mascara the ODD girl wears eyeshadow or blush. legwarmers under there pants as well haha..
They usually only wear fake tan when they're going out but it's not orange and it's WAY WAY WAY better than sunbeds,However i'm not a fan of that...and when they're going out they wear short dresses(but not real slutty)

About my skin and makeup: I have rather oily skin and some mild acne. I have bare minerals makeup and primer as well as foundation and tinted moisturizer.
